Homecoming 09

Was a blast.

I actually started dancing as soon as we got into the gym which was something I never did in the years before.

And here are the lovely pictures my Dad managed to take:







I think that last one is a keeper. =p

Despite the fact of me hating this year it made it seem somewhat better.

But only somewhat.

May I also say that the lovely woman and dear friend dressed all pretty in pink did my hair?

She's a talented little devil. >=)

(Also note that the man with the brown hair wasn't looking at the camera in any of the pictures. Shame on you Ryan. =p)

After homecoming Andeth, Ryan, Jackie, Mike, Billy, Dev, Gerber, Tom and Ed all came back to my house for some pool, video games and chicken fries! =D

Gerber did some magic tricks too and Tom was good at pool (Andeth and Mike had already impressed upon me their skills last year. =p)

Life's A Bitch And Then Ya Die

I dedicate this blog postie title to Cy, who really has the right to say that.

Slept in until 10 and then listened to Melvin until 11:30ish.

Came downstairs and JJ was glued to the XBox he bought yesterday. He was playing Halo 3.

He let me play for a few minutes and drive this weird hover thing. I tried to shoot this one bad guy but I missed, so then I shot this other dude. Apparently he was on my side...whoops.

Then I backed into another one of my guys.

JJ says I can't play anymore. =p

Was all cool and finally got out the PS2 and played James Bond Everything Or Nothing on hard and beat it.

Then I moved onto ATV Off Road Fury 2.

I like driving around and doing cool stunts. =p

Cy called me and apparently him, Jeff, and one of his friends that was moving away tomorrow were all sitting in the parking lot at the Bakery. Apparently his transmission went patooey and just died.

My Dad offered to drive me to his house and then him and I went up to his room and watched the 2nd season of 24.

His little brothers kept attacking us. =p

When his Dad came home he gave me a hug. I felt so loved! ^-^

His Dad asked me how I got there and I told him my Dad drove me. He said that my Dad must have been praying to get me out of the house. =p

Watched some more 24, and then Cy drove his Nana's van to my house to drop me off.

IT WAS SO COLD IN THERE. o.o

It was parked outside so that's why. You could see your breath. Which brought me to tell the story of the old lady who thought I was smoking on the bus in Middle School when I was really just sucking on a sucker. =p

When I was dropped off I went down in the basement with my Dad and his buddies and watched them play pool. Gary let me shoot for him a few times! =D

A bit later Cy called, apparently the battery on the car died in the middle of 82 by Best Buy. So he had to push it out of the way a bit and stand out in the cold to wait for his Dad to come so they could push it back to the parking lot.

Poor Cy. =/

Jessica's Back! The Hunt! And Back Breakers!

Jessica is back from Ireland!!

She still doesn't have an accent though. =p

For the life of me I didn't know what happened to them.

Then something came to my attention while I was talking to my Aunt DB.

I had called to thank her for the outfit she got me for Christmas and that I had worn it today (thanks to the many that complemented how nice I looked =D).

Anyways, so I'm telling her how I lost my books and binders and I told her all the places I looked and she jokingly said "I but Cyrus stole them, ha ha!"

And then I realized...

HE DID.

O.O

Okay not really, he was carrying them for me and forgot to give them back (same difference though =x).

Apparently they might be in Touk's room.

I'm so glad I remembered what happened to them!

Although...I was pretty set on my theory that a little elf came and took them...

=p

It's the new year, so we're back to a serious workout at the Costello house.

Did the normal 3 sets this time instead of two, and we also did a new workout.

Back is quite sore now though...Dad says I should get it checked out. =/

Had a sub for a bus river this morning...man...why does it seem we only have them in the middle of winter where it's pitch black out in the morning?

He knew which roads to turn down, but he had no clue where the houses were. We tried to help him...

Charlie: You're going to want to slow down here
Bus Driver: *completely stops the bus* There's no one waiting here
Me: .....You have to go up about 3 more driveways, it will be on your right.
Bus Driver: *speeds past the house*
Charlie and I: ......You passed it...
Bus Driver: Well, if you would give me better directions

*sigh* At least we made it to the school I guess...

When I got home from school today I putted in the basement and then played 2 games of pool...with myself...alone...without anyone to talk too...

Just kidding, it was actually quite peaceful. =)

For some reason I started feeling woozy so I lied down to take a small nap before dinner.

We had Matzo Ball Soup...I think I burnt my tongue on it though...it feels funny.

Also, I have managed to chew off all my pretty long nails that I grew over break...I blame school and my lack of ability to control my habit.

But mostly school.

Talked to Mr. Mayer today, apparently he just didn't put my grade into progress book, but it is graded.

Got very angry today in math class...

Out of all the other problems Coach L has, with his daughter, and raising his other little ones, trying to help his wife, etc, it was brought to his attention on New Years that his mother has cancer.

I guess it's kind of a silly thing to get mad about but, he always has circles under his eyes now, and he is very quite, and always sounds sad all the time. I don't even remember the last time he smiled...

*headdesk*

Well...it can only get better...right?

I Was Just Wondering...

Have you even been in a crowded area and start thinking in your head "Hey, you! Yeah you! I know you can read minds! You can't fool me!!" and look around to see if anybody had a panicked look on their face?

Very annoyed today, have to take a study hall. =/

Ya see, I wanna take web page design but they said that it was HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you take this class before it. Reading the description I thought "This sounds a bit like keyboarding, but only half a year instead of a year like I had last year."

I asked some people about it but they were all like "Nooo, no! You learn different stuff in this class than keyboarding!"

It was brought to my attention today that those people were wrong.

The only way I could have taken it was if I changed my history class to 3rd period and change teachers and I didn't want to go through all that hassle. Basically all the other classes that you could take for 3rd period are art classes, which I can't take.

So now I have a study hall.

=/

Blah.

I'll know never to do that again at least...

Discovered I had a paper cut on my thumb so it has been covered with a Hello Kitty band aid.

I wish I had Blues Clues one's though. =/

Teddy Bears, Seizure Man, Popcorn, and Puppies

Epic physics lab today.

Mr. O'Brien brought out this little teddy bear named Wendell!!!

Wendell is such an awesome name.

XD

Anyways, after demonstrating newtons law of motion using Wendell, Mr. O'Brien demonstrated inertia by lighting a candle and placing the candle and a bunch of fine China on this table cloth, and swishing it out from underneath it.

I must say though, the experiment with the blow torch was better, even if Mr. O'Brien wouldn't let me touch it. =p

When I walked into math class today I discovered that the huge beanie back chair was gone!

Apparently the owner came back and retrieved it.

During my art period today I signed out a pass to go to my locker. On the way there I was passing the cafe when suddenly the smell of popcorn hit my nose.

I said to myself "I smell popcorn" and the teacher turned around and went "You sure do! Want some?!"

So I got free popcorn. =)

I had to use every ounce of strength in me not to run up and hug him.

At at Pat Dee's for this pizza night.

We brought JJ's friend Steven along with us. I love that little guy. =p

When we dropped him off, we all went inside his house because we knew he had an early Christmas surprise waiting for him.

It was a puppy!

They named the puppy Elli.

Friday night here at the Costello's which means Dad's buddies come over for pool and beer.

Easy guys, I can't keep up with the creative post titles everyday....

Woke up late, but to quite again! Apparently Dad had taken JJ to target to buy some new clothes.

Guess what day it was again....

SUPER MEGA DOWNLOAD SUNDAY!

Went crazy on limewire and downloaded a bunch of songs by: The Hush Sound, Pink Floyd, Michel Jackson, Patent Pending, ATC, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Katy Perry.

I used to have 598 songs on my Ipod now I have 628.

I'd say it was a good day. =)

After SMDS was over and Dad and JJ had come home I wanted to take a small walk in the park. I ran upstairs, got all ready, gloves, layers, boots and all and as soon as I step outside it rains. And rains. And rains.

In the end we decided it was too wet. =/

Dad went downstairs to watch the Browns game and I spent a little time on the computer before going to read upstairs. I decided to pick When Lightning Strikes from the 1-800-WHERE-R-YOU series by Meg Cabot. I've read the book a few times before but I want a quick review so I can borrow the next book in the series from the library.

My Dad doesn't understand why I re-read books.

"How many times of you read that?"
"Only 5."
"..."

Heh, ya know that book Twilight? I've read that one 9 times. =p

So, read When Lightning Strikes for about 2 hours, before coming back onto the computer to work on my book some more.

Went over to Grammy's to have dinner with her. Friday was the official 9 years since my Grandpa passed away.


In a wheel chair since 17, had three jobs, let alone was a father to two great kids, cut the lawn, helped out in the barn, took care of the house, and all while finding time to spend with his children and wife. He never rose his voice, was respectful to my Grammy, and was the kindest man you'll ever met.

There should be more people like him in the world.

During dinner Dad and Grammy cheered for the Browns. My Grammy is 76 and she's yelling and screaming at the football game on TV. Reason #476 of why she is so freaking awesome.

Dropped JJ off at Stevens, they were taking him to a haunted house.

I came home and played pool for half and hour. Not like an actual game, just practice shots and stuff. I'm getting better though. You should have seen how well I cut this one ball into the corner pocket...

Gonna work a little bit more on my story, clean my room, then hit the sack.

I Kissed A Girl And I Liked It

Heh, that's a really funny song now.

So, school was okay. History class was of course fun. In art my upside down drawing was good except for the dude's head I had to draw. It looked like a really crappy MySpace pic. XD I'm so putting that on my fridge when we get it back.

Didn't have golf practice today because of the rain. Well, it was optional, but I saw no point in it. Went home on the bus and got home around 2:30ish. It was so weird being home that early. =p

Hung out around the house. Dad and I went and got pizza, and then we headed out to pick up Zak and Devvy Chan to go to Ryan's bonfire. Together it was Devvy Chan, Zak, Peaches, Ryan, Myself, and Ryan's brothers 11 friends that were going to sleep over that night. I felt so bad for him mom.

Went swimming, and then we hung out around the fire. Talked about things, did some stupid stuff, then went up to Ryan's bedroom and did even stupider stuff. Then we watched Comedy Central and youtube videos.

Oh, and remember how I told you guys my dad thought I was popping pills? I didn't put it in a blog posties so here's a recap: I asked my dad if he did drugs in HS and he said no, he got fucked up in college cuz there was too much shit goin on in HS. Then the next morning I was eating tic-tacs and he accused me of popping pills.

Yeah.

Well today it gets even better.

On the phone before he got home he said this: "Now Ashley, I don't belive you will do drugs, but I don't believe in coincidences either, and I think at that party, somebody, preferably Ryan, is going to get high tonight."

Ryan I will apologize for my dad being such a dumbass.

Soooooo lets see...NOW my dad thinks I'm:

-Doing drugs
-Watching Porn
and
-Turing into a 'Gothic Bloodsucker'

*sniff* I'm so proud *sniff* he has so much trust in me! *wipes tears with hankie*

Last night was a blast though. It was nice I guess that Ryan and I are on terms somewhat, and I'm really glad Zak and him are friends again.

It was so a night that made me think "If HS is like this now...college should be fucking CRAZY!"

Beep Beep

So, changed the blog up a bit. You like?

Got a new playlist with some of my favorite songs. It'll start up automatically (might need time to load up first) and it's located at the bottom of the blog.

The thing where the title is was what I wanted for my background. I made it on paint and stuff, but I couldn't find anyway to put it as the background. I might search online to make it into a template, that should do it then. For now I guess I'll have to settle for it like that.

Font and Blog colors thing isn't working. Everytime it says there's and error on the page and it won't let me do anything. Maybe it's just my laptop?? Dunno, I'll check it out on the home computer later.

Slept in till around 10:45 then got up and took a shower. Spent the rest of the day in my boxers and old softball t-shirt trying to get the blog font colors and my windows movie maker to work. Got Aurther Treachers and went to Grammy's for dinner. Left my celly at her house though, so if I don't answer you that's why.

Heh....when my mom was setting the alarm before we went to pick up dinner I slipped into the drivers seat and backed the car outta the grauge...she walked out the door and kinda stopped with this look on her face that said "Okay...I'm sure the car was here a minute ago..." I beeped the horn, she yelled at me a bit saying that if JJ got hurt she could have gone to jail. Now, I would never want my brother to get hurt, and I made sure I didn't scratch the car. The lecture was kinda wasted though because when she got into the drivers seat she sighed and said "Ya did pretty damn good though kid..." =)

Actually, backing up is kinda easy. I thought it would be harder but it's not. I'm really careful.

Um....I THINK I'm supossed to be doing something Friday. I think with Devvy Chan...? I'll have to call her. Good thing I memorized her celly number. Saturday going swimming at Zaks. He said I should come over his house. It's also kinda rude to have him always come over to my house and me never go to his except once. Zak says his house is stupid and that he doesn't like it cuz it's small. I don't care if it's 'small', just because I live in a 'big' house doesn't mean I'm a snob. I actually like his house, it's very cozy. He's got a pool too! =)

Hmmmmm....gonna try and mess with the blog some more and then surf the web a bit.

We guys should start a chat room, getting kinda boring online now ya think?

Par-tay!

Woke up at 7:30 this morning, since it was already and ungodly 88 degrees outside and waaaay humid, and went to the range with JJ. I guess I did good, need to work on my distance though, dad says Ross (my golf coach-like guy) will help me with that. My longest drive (golf term, DRVIE- ball hit with the big club =p) was about 175 (yards)....I want to get it to 200 (yards)or more...maybe I need to work out more? I think it's more controlling the golf swing though....

Anyways, called mom and when she picked us up from the range was was ranting about how she was home for about 3 minutes and we called, and how these roads were closed, and wasting gas and stuff. I told her at the house that she should wait in the parking lot because it'll be short but she was like "Nooooo I need to be home for when Jackie (cleaning lady) gets heeeeere"

*sigh*

Cut the grass, then played runescape, IMed, and did other random things on the Internet. After about awhile I was tired of computer so I went downstairs and watched The Incredibles.

SAMI'S PART-TAY WAS AWESOME!!!

We all swam in the pool, ate pizza, swam some more, and then threw stuff in the fire to make it go WHOOSH really high! =)

I think everyone liked my hair too. When we dropped Ryan off his mom was waiting in the grauge, and she noticed and said she liked it. =) Thanks again Ryan's Mom!

Oh yeah I almost forgot! When Ryan tipped the floatie over I went flying into Rayy and kicked her left boob, and I promised to put this in here: Sorry Rayy's left boob! =p

Devvy chan didn't bring a swimmy suit because it was that time of the month, and she though she couldn't go swimming. After soaking her in her clothes she just gave up and then jumped in with us, so that was fun.

When I got home mom told me that she had a fun outfit for me that she bought at wal mart and I was like "ooooooh!" She got me this cute top with happy bunny and a whole bunch of stuff on it, and these shorts with a Sesame Street character on them! I love them sooo much. Methinks I'll wear it when Zak comes over Sunday. =)

Speaking of Zak, I hope he likes THE SURPRISE. I don't think he'll mind, it's already happened and you can't change it.

Tired now, methink's I'm going to go straight to bed, I listened to my Ipod a few time's today anyways while on the computer.
