Old Habits Die Hard

I started biting my nails again.

Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh.

Now they look all icky.

=/

There isn't a point to paint them where there isn't anything to paint really... Maybe clear nail polish, just so they don't attract any eyes...

I'd sit on my hands but it's kinda hard to type that way. I mean, I can race my brother in the Wii Indy 500 and drive with my feet (and get in first place I might add....*cough*) but I haven't exactly typed with my toes before.

I'll have to try it some time. =)

My mom was curious about chat speak, so I told her stuff like what ROFL means, and LMAO. She already knew what LOL meant, she was so proud of herself. =p

Mom is leaving for Vegas on Thursday. I think this is her first vacation that she's going on with out us since like....my brother and myself were born. She so deserves it. She'll be going with my Uncle. He says he's gonna teach her some tricks about the slots. =)

Hopefully the weather doesn't change too much there so it affects her migraines....I don't think so though.

Cyrus invited me on an adventure tomorrow! We're going to go to Kendall Lake! My dad thinks that his sister, sister's friend, and mom are gonna be there, heh, they're not. =p

My mood has improved since this morning, I wasn't feeling very good.

We went to Pet Smart today and I looked at the kitties! I saw a black one that's name was Thomas!! I adore black cats. =)

Guess what, started looking at my book again, Marco Polo Die. Took at the book and skimmed over all 236 pages. In the end I was a little...unhappy. I could have made it a lot better. So I'm starting to make an outline for each chapter and change a lot of things in it. I'm really hoping to turn it into a film script actually. Can't wait to take that film class next year. I looked up script writing on the internet, and I told you all about that one really great site, but it doesn't answer some questions I have.

My mom suggested looking at the format for the Crucible and Raisin In The Sun, but the format and style for a play is very different than a movie script. There isn't as much detail in the movie script, and there are many different settings, while in a play the description of an Act could be pages long and only have maybe 3 different settings.

I feel like such a nerd. =p

I am sad to discover that some of the songs on my playlist, mostly the one's by the band Muse (which is my favorite) are not working. =(

I'll have to take care of that later.

Hardly got any sleep the past few weeks and you know what they say, you never can catch up with lost sleep.

So lets see what's been up...

6:30 to get up for work, self confidence level's decresing, dad yelled at me about buying a pair of gogo boots from ed that he say's i'll never wear (which I will), Kris yelled at me about scaning, Debbie yelled at me for having nothing to do (well sorry that you couldn't give me something to do...), John yelled at me for not bringing out hard copies, it was hot as hell in the warehouse and I was wearing jeans because I thought I was gonna spend most of my Monday up in the offices where they pump AC in there like crazy, the stupid tape wouldn't stick to the boxes which got my mood even worse, and my mom yelled at me because for dinner I said I was only eating an ear of corn and a pork chop and she says that isn't enough...

Actually for dinner I ended up eating half the pork chop and 2 ear's of corn. The corn was so good....

Went upstairs and fell right to sleep around 7 and woke up around 8:30ish to give Ed her money for the gogo boots. Watched part of House, and now I'm just here to blog quickly before going to bed.

Why am I forcing myself to sleep and maybe poping a few pills to help?

Well 1 I would like to sleep fully for whatever time I can and 2 I have to be at my golf league at 8:30 in the freaking morning for our champs. Great. Then I have work tomorrow to so I should really just give up sleeping right now if the drugs don't help.

Dev is gonna lend me her black nail polish, I'm gonna wear it to try and stop biting my nails.

She wikied it for me, didn't help but there could have been something there I guess. Dev says I need to be determind, but I really don't care, I'm just gonna see if this helps and if it doesn't then screw it, I'll bite my nails to the day I die I guess.

Dad says that one of my boyfriends is gonna dump me because of how ugly my nails look. Well fuck him and fuck them, the obviousely must not be very good boyfriends to dump me for such a stupid reason. >=/

Had no spelling errors in my blog postie, yippiee I guess...first time this has happened. Spelling improved ya think?

Day 1

Day 1 of the first day of summer vacation is basically over! It's been a pretty good day too.

Today I went with my mom to get her nails done, and I convinced her to get them painted with his cool blue color! It's pretty wild for a mom, especally one that's 50, but I think it suits her if I do say so myself. But there are also flowers painted on them to make up for it. They look pretty darn cool.

After that we ate at Mom's Diner (not my moms, that's just what it's called) and it was kick ass inside. They had the classis bar, booths, colors, lights, food, floor, walls, atmospher, everything. I love diners, that kinda old time feeling, where everyone seems friendly. It's nice.

After that I went and got...THE SURPRISE. Yes, THE SURPRISE. I can't wait to show you it!!! Anyone who is coming to Sami's end of the year party will!! I'm hoping it'll knock some of your socks off.

After getting THE SURPRISE we headed home and I hung around the house. Took the dog for a walk with my dad, and when we got home I had him listen to Dragon Force. He said he liked it, so that's pretty cool.

Mom's not really talking to me because my dad yelled at her for trying to make me wear a sundress for when I go to the office and I supported him. She just doesn't get that people don't wear sundresses in the business world anymore. Hell, people barely wear suits! Besides, my dad is the boss of the building there, I thin, he would know what I should and shouldn't wear....

*sigh* oh well.

Tomorrow mom said that Grammy, uncle Scott, jj, her, and I are all going to Olive Garden to celebrate the end of the year. This will be the first time I've ever eaten there before! When we dropped something off at my uncle's house today he gave me $10 since I was going to 10th grade. We joked about how when I graduate I get $12 cuz that's like, not even enough to buy a quarter tank of gas anymore these days.

Did you hear gas prices might be up to $7-$8 a gallon by the end of the summer?? O.O

Ugh....I shutter to think.

Well that's pretty much it for today!
