I'm On Fire!

Literally.

So I'm up and trying to be all calm before golf and I decide to grill myself a burger.

So I go outside and turn on the gas and start to turn on each of the burners. I get to the last one and it's not turning on. So I keep clicking it on and off and still no dice.

Before I was annoyed enough to stop and get my mother to figure out what the hell was wrong it started up- and all the gas that was rising up from me trying to turn it on so many damn times thus, making a huge fireball hurtling towards my face.

Which caught my hair on fire.

I went running into the house yelling "Fuuuuuuuck!" and sped into my mothers bathroom to look at myself. My mom then came in and asked "How's the burger going?"

-_-

Then here eyes went really wide because I was covered in bits of burnt hair.

Lucky for me it's long enough to put up in a pony tail, so only what was hanging down got burnt.

And I don't have to pluck my brows anymore either.

My eyelashes are shorter though...

I also had to take another shower.

Burning hair does not smell good at all let me tell you.

Cyrus then came over because he wanted to give me some Gatoraid for golf today and I made him open the grill so I could cook my burger.

=p

I was really shaken by the incident though, which didn't really help with the whole 'Calm down and don't get nervous about losing your pride at golf today' plan.

Cyrus left and then I ate my burger and got dressed.

Chipped out in the backyard a bit before begging mom to take me to the course about 45 minutes early so I could hit balls just to give myself more confidence.

Got there and in the end didn't hit balls and went straight to the league teacher. Apparently, JJ's league teed off at 2, mine had teed of at 12.

Dad fucks up the times and leagues yet again.

JJ's league was lower than mine, so I didn't need to be nervous about sucking anymore. If I did you couldn't tell.

I just couldn't seem to hit my 3 wood- or any other woods in my bag. So I stuck to my 6 iron and pitching wedge for most of the course.

My score was average/ick. 53. =/

Which actually sort of pumps me up because if I'm shooting a 53 after being out only twice on a course (today counting as the 2nd time) my score should be kick ass once I'm out more.

After playing I met up with Jack who ran the advance league last year I believe. He was all "OMG YOU SHOULD BE IN ADVANCE WHY ARE YOU HERE?!"

I'm hoping there is at lest one other girl in the league besides me. It gets a little tiersome playing with guys all the time, plus I'm betting the guys are all older/bigger than me which plays down on my nerves a tad. Which in turn fucks up my game and we go back to the whole pride thing.

Spanish and English exam tomorrow then heading over to The Range to turn in my application and talk to Andrew (guy that works there).

I lost my wallet today too which is bad because it has my license in it.

><

I swear it's somewhere here in the house, but now I'm getting worried I might have dropped it somewhere. =x

Also:

This little guy was in front of our garage.

His name is it Tyler Toad because I'm all badass and creative like that.

Leaving

Douglas R. Wasson
DOUGLAS R. WASSON, age 54, of Cleveland. Beloved husband of Katarina "Kathy" (nee Arsenijevic); devoted father of Ryan and Daniel Wasson; dearest son of Dick and Jackie Wasson (nee Schroepfer);brother of Tom (Dottie), Jean Mitchell (Pat) and Billy (deceased); son-in-law of Rade (deceased) and Gisela Arsenijevic; cherished uncle of Kristin, Kara, Kevin, Emily, Kate and Kamryn. Doug was a dedicated employee of UPS for 31 years. Passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Memorials may be forwarded to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106. Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at Church of the Holy Angels, 18205 Chillicothe Rd., Bainbridge Township, where friends may call FROM 10:30 A.M. UNTIL THE TIME OF THE MASS. Cremation by Busch Crematory. Friends may call at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 7501 RIDGE RD., PARMA, FROM 2-4 AND 7-9 P.M. MONDAY.

Dad and I went to see Doug today and say our good-byes. Thank goodness he was cremated, I don't think I would have been able to hold myself together for very long if I just saw him lying there.

Met his wife and his one son Daniel. Dad did all of the talking though.

I kind of laughed though. There was a candle next to his urn and it reminded me of a part in this movie trailer where this guy is going "When my grandfather died there was this one candle next to his bed and it started flickering and we all thought that was him going to heaven. =)" and then the other guy goes "Dude you don't pass fire to get to heaven...I think he went to hell."

=p

It lifted up my spirits a tad.

Cyrus let me take his hoodie home as well so I'm snuggling in it.

I love snuggling in hoodies. =)

Rayy wasn't at school today, she's been sick since last week. Poor thing. =/

Feel better Rayy!! *huggles*

It's...Today....

Why is today so important and scary??

Because my friends, it is January 12, 2009, a day where I am not only the age of 15 but I am 15 1/2.

Why is this day somewhat terrifiying?

Well after I take my test, it means...I CAN DRIVE.

I look forward to seeing you on the road. =)

School was eventful today.

3rd period the fire alarm went off, which is my PE class so everyone was turning blue as we stood outside in the snowfall.

When Cy came over I gave my jacket up to Cynthia because she looked really cold. It was okay because I had a Cyrus. =p

This one fat freshie kept complaining the whole time. We finally told her to shut up, and that the whole school was outside and to buck up (besides, freshies aren't allowed complain =p). Then she started crying and yelling at us that we hate her and that she has no friends and yadda yadda.

*sigh*

She yelled at me for giving my jacket to Cynthia and not her too...

Blah...

In the end PE became a free day.

Rest of school was pretty much normal.

Got home, did my homework, then feel asleep.

Apparently Cy called me, but I don't remember picking up the phone at all....

Sleep talking on the phone? =/

Ate dinner, watched a bit of the news, then called Cy.

Mom then came and asked me, twittling her thumbs and giving me Bambi eyes, if I could make her a grilled cheese.

Actually she asked for two.

But anyways, since I was giving up some of my time to study I decided it would be fair if I took a bite out of one of the grilled cheeses.

I made her a little flag and stuck it in them then handed her the plate, and she was like "Awwwweee, look at the fl- HEY!! You bit one of them!!"

=p

OMG GOOD NEWS!!

MILEY CYRUS APPARENTLY CUT HER UVULA!

It was in Whatthebuck's new youtube vid.

If you can bare to watch it, click here. =p

Anyways, this is important to me because she might not be able to sing again!

Epicness.

=D

Well, that's all for now. =)

I Really Should Be Asleep

It is now 1:39 on this lovely Sunday night.

I should be asleep but I'm wide awake, many things going through my mind right now.

Ah, I feel a very negatively vibed post coming on, feel free to skip down to the much more happier post about my Sunday under this one blog readers.

There's also a rant that's gonna be in here too...I can feel it...

Attempted to work on the binder for VV, tried to listen to the prowl tours online but it has proven to be impossible to concentrate on. It's so boring to listen to, and each of the prowls are 30-45 minutes long.

I really wish we could have actually gone on the prowl.

=/

Answered most of the other questions in the binder though.

I could write my journal right now, but I dunno what to say. I'm not good with all this industry and businussy stuff. Really all I got is that Cleveland should use the lake front property for things like shops, and hotels and other such things. Many major cities do that, it seems to bring in some business, and might make people want to move there. =/

Blah.

I asked my Dad for some help, asked him why he thought Cleveland went down and why it's taking us so long to get back up to where we were and stuff.

His answer: Taft.

Well shit, that REALLY helped me, thanks Dad.

*rolls eyes*

This week doesn't seem like it will be a very good week. Getting that creeping feeling of overwhelming on my back.

Which, those of you who knew and remember from last year what that could bring back, although I'm trying my hardest not to let it. Found the object to that childishness and will be giving it to my mother I think.

Cyrus was asking me times he could come over and I told him Tuesday and 7 should be okay but then remembered that I workout then and apparently my mom has an appointment for her arm too, which my dad will be going with her to.

><

I'm completely free Wednesday though...

Winter break is coming up, started talking to my dad, telling him how our break is like, 15 days and that I would really like to come back for a few and work in the warehouse of offices.

He said that they were cutting back majorly this month and that he doesn't think I can. =/

Apparently one of our big customers, Chick Master Inc. has gone bankrupt. They had so much sales happening around the world and then they just canceled and everything. Not to mention the top sales rep guy was laid off...

It's like someone just turned the water off or something. My dad's best business for the company so far this year was in October and September and then BAM November hit and everything just stopped.

Damn economy.

What I don't get is that, like, we've seen something like this coming for awhile right? So like, how come we failed at preventing this huge slump from happening?

Blah.

Need to find a way to make money for the holidays and other things.

Thought about shoveling driveways, that would be GREAT for my back huh?

If it were summer I could mow people's lawns...

Was thinking about cleaning my Grammy's and Uncles house's but I dunno...I'd hate to try and scrounge money off of them when they're getting me gifts for the holidays, ya know? =/

Hmmmm...

I'll think of something...

And if any of you suggest robbing a bank JJ's already beat ya to it. =p

Have to stay after school tomorrow to take that essay test...

Got most of the paragraph planned out in my head though, so that's good.

Unless she changes the topic it's on... O.O

It's 2:14 now...

Dammit why can't things like this happen on a Saturday where I DON'T have school the next day.

Meeeeeeeeeeh.

Dad's pestering me about Cyrus has really been getting to my head, but in the sense that if Cyrus asks me out and I say yes he would be in a pissed off mood and hate me or something.

Okay, so he wouldn't hate me, he's my dad, but my dad seems to know how to make my life a living hell (along with everyone else in the house).

Dammit, why do fathers always have to be all big, mean, scary, and negative when it come's to boys?!

And yes, Cyrus is 2 years older than me, which in high school can be a very big difference when it comes to social group, and education and such.

And yes, he'll be going away to college.

But for crying out loud he's making more of a fuss over Cyrus than Zak who's only ambition in life was to lay me and leave.

Ah, the irony in this situation. I sometimes laugh at it.

Debating on whether or not I should just give up sleeping and caffeine my way through the day...

Why do I have this suddenly feeling I have a physics test tomorrow...

Oh boy.

Still haven't found my Spanish book...I should check the lost and found.

Now that I'm done with my rambling and rants lets find the brighter side of all of this...

I can get my mother to help me with my Valley Voyages things tomorrow...

There is still a chance I can work for SWACO during winter break...

As for the economy...well, I dunno, everything gets worse before it gets better.

And I guess it's good that my dad cares, and that all of this is his way of trying to protect me as a father.

I could try and cram 3 hours of sleep in...

Maybe...

Meh.

I guess there aren't only negative things going on in my mind right now. There's friends, a certain someone, snowflakes, and logs on the fire.

*sigh*

Just watch, this will all blow over tomorrow.

Felt good to get it off of my chest though.

I just can't seem to end a post negative now can I?

=p

Favorite Winter Smell

I think I will make the above postie title a poll.

My favorite winter smell would be the smell of logs burning on a fire. =)

Had a good day today.

Saw someone place a log on the fire on the fireplace channel. Which means I get good luck for the rest of the day! =D

Hung out with Cyrus today.

We were gonna go bowling but they were all like "Oooooh well it's not 'prime time' yet, so come back when we can't give you a lane."

Okay, so they didn't come out at say that but ya know.

So we dicided to go to Peppers and get Egg Nog and I ran into Peaches there! =D

After we made our purchase we hung out at the Lee Eaton playground and I tried some and liked it so that was good.

We drove around a bit before coming back to my house to enjoy the fire.

My Dad then got into a political debate with Cyrus, which, since I'm not good with politics, led me to become a third party.

So I talked with Hamilton. =p

Then Cyrus left, we gave lots of hugs, and said how much we liked each other and then he left.

He'll be bowling with us tomorrow!!! =D

So now you all really get to meet him!

=)

I feel bad for Andy since Cyrus and I are bad bowlers and Andy is on the bowling team and all.

Maybe he can give us some pointers to improve our lack of skillz. =p

Well, gonna hang out online before goin to bed.

Will post up that poll.

It will be above all the quiz results I posted up today.

I'm sure you'll find the one very interesting.

Lets Cuddle And Watch The Fire

Went over to Grammy's house today to help decorate her house for the season. In the end we started a fire and was so hypnotized by it we didn't do much decorating.

=p

Grammy made us an early dinner and then we went home.

Once home I worked 5 hours straight on my history paper. No breaks, no snacking. That's how I normally like to do homework.

Which is kinda bad because 3 hours into those 5 hours I was so hungry I was shaking and dizzy.

But come ooooon I was almost done with the paper and having so much fun writing it (seriously) and if I would have stopped I would have lost 'the mood' and wouldn't have been able to finish it.

I had a Klondike bar.

Heh...in my paper, when I was talking about how the American troops training in France didn't really get to fighting until 12 months later, I put: "American troops didn't get any action until 12 months later when they hit the front lines..."

XD

I kill myself sometimes.

=p

Yes, very healthy, but I didn't want to spend so much time eating because I wanted to watch my VV videos I needed to watch before tomorrow.

Really I only needed to watch 2, but I watched all 12 of em, they were actually semi-interesting.

XD

In the tour thing I have to listen to it just sounded like some kid on a bike ran into a wall!

It was like *ching ching* BAM "ooooow."

Brilliant.

Might listen to Melvin for a bit before going to bed.

Have to wake up at 7:30 tomorrow, we're going to be going to Cleveland and we get to eat in the Hard Rock Cafe!!!

=D

The learning is cool too...

The Great Blue Rescue!

Hehe...that rhymes.

=p

Yesterday Dad, JJ, and I decided to go out on a hike in the...Brecksville Reservation I believe.

Before we did Dad wanted to turn all the coins he had in this big jar he had been saving up for years (there were mostly pennies in it) and turn it into cash.

HE HAD $177 IN THERE!

o.o

I'm gonna start saving now...

I have a little itty bitty jar. ^-^

Hiked to this big gorge and when we were on this over-look thing I saw a Pepsi can at the bottom!

I named it Blue and I asked my Dad if I could get it, but he said maybe at the end of the hike.

In the end, I climbed down the 3 mini waterfalls and slippery rocks and slid down to save Blue!

=D

Then I tried to get back up the way I came...it didn't work...

So then JJ threw his walking stick down to me and I climbed up the side and threw Blue up to him.

These people, who turned out to be watching the whole thing, started clapping. =p

They had a nice doggie, who's name was Otis. Oh, and there was this gay guy, who was their friend, who's name was Alex, who complemented my Dad on his boots and said he liked me hat! =D

Alex had a cool rainbow bowl-like hat on too. =p

Funny thing was, when they were walking away JJ and I heard Alex say to his friend "that old guys jacket did not match his outfit."

XD

Dad dropped me off at Devvy Chan's house for a few hours.

I told her about the great blue rescue and then we played rock band. After that we hid under her covers while her dog tried to attack us. =p

Ashton came over and her 2 little cousins (one 3, one 7) joined her...little brats...

I hid my honey buns from all of them. =p

Today I woke up and Dad and I did some un-needed yard work.

We cleaned the grange floor, picked up some leaves, cleans up the dog shit, re-organized the tools in his barn, then shoveled some snow off of the driveway.

=p

Now we're all warm and cozy in the house and I'm waiting for JJ to come home so we can play Mario Party 8.

Might be hangin out with Cyrus later on tonight...

I wish it was cold enough to have a nice warm fire...

Speaking of which, THE FIRE PLACE CHANNEL IS ON!!!

My most favorite channel ever during the winter months.

Check. It. Out.

Oh yeah, and if you see someone put a new log on the fire (not just moving it, has to be a new one) then you get good luck!

=D

I Kissed A Girl And I Liked It

Heh, that's a really funny song now.

So, school was okay. History class was of course fun. In art my upside down drawing was good except for the dude's head I had to draw. It looked like a really crappy MySpace pic. XD I'm so putting that on my fridge when we get it back.

Didn't have golf practice today because of the rain. Well, it was optional, but I saw no point in it. Went home on the bus and got home around 2:30ish. It was so weird being home that early. =p

Hung out around the house. Dad and I went and got pizza, and then we headed out to pick up Zak and Devvy Chan to go to Ryan's bonfire. Together it was Devvy Chan, Zak, Peaches, Ryan, Myself, and Ryan's brothers 11 friends that were going to sleep over that night. I felt so bad for him mom.

Went swimming, and then we hung out around the fire. Talked about things, did some stupid stuff, then went up to Ryan's bedroom and did even stupider stuff. Then we watched Comedy Central and youtube videos.

Oh, and remember how I told you guys my dad thought I was popping pills? I didn't put it in a blog posties so here's a recap: I asked my dad if he did drugs in HS and he said no, he got fucked up in college cuz there was too much shit goin on in HS. Then the next morning I was eating tic-tacs and he accused me of popping pills.

Yeah.

Well today it gets even better.

On the phone before he got home he said this: "Now Ashley, I don't belive you will do drugs, but I don't believe in coincidences either, and I think at that party, somebody, preferably Ryan, is going to get high tonight."

Ryan I will apologize for my dad being such a dumbass.

Soooooo lets see...NOW my dad thinks I'm:

-Doing drugs
-Watching Porn
and
-Turing into a 'Gothic Bloodsucker'

*sniff* I'm so proud *sniff* he has so much trust in me! *wipes tears with hankie*

Last night was a blast though. It was nice I guess that Ryan and I are on terms somewhat, and I'm really glad Zak and him are friends again.

*sigh*

It was so a night that made me think "If HS is like this now...college should be fucking CRAZY!"

O.O

Ashley Olympics

There were so many events that happened today I'm calling it the Ashley Olympics. Now, lets lest all of what happened.

Field: Work

Event 1
Strength

So today in the ware house it was only John and myself because Larry's wife was in surgery and he needed to watch the kids. The two of us alone had to get out this big shipment of 30 boxes of items. But what's 30 boxes right? Heh heh...well, each box weighed about 40-50 pounds, and we needed to put one on the scale, take it off, put the other on on the scale, take that off then after that we need to carry each one over to one of the flats then when UPS come's we need to hand each one to them....

Luckily everything else was 10 pound after that.

Event 2
Knowledge- SAY THAT LINE

Larry wasn't the only one gone today, Greg in the offices was gone too because his son was graduating from Elementary school- but I didn't bring up the issue of how that really is kinda stupid. So anyways, that left me to have to help DB and Kris (did I mention that Kris is a guy?) answer the phones.

I was kinda nervous because I was afraid I would mess up and lose my dad a customer... Now, when you answer the phone you need to say the company name and who you are and the- of course- 'how may I help you?'

So I sat at my desk and kept repeating to myself "S.W. Anderson, this is Ashley speaking, how may I help you?"

Kris and DB made fun of me a little which I must say, it was pretty funny.

Then I got my call and it all went smoothly from there.

Event 3
Speed

At the end of the day (around 4:25) we get our 'last minute callers'- and i mean a whole shit load of em. So we need to pick up the phones, dial the extension, not let them be on hold for too long, take another call, dial extension, hold, etc over and over again.

In the end we did pretty good, only one person was like "I've been on hold for a long time nah nah nah" when there were only on hold for one minute while others who were patent were on for a top of two....

Field: Road

Event 4
Cooking

Had to race from work to Subway, to Mr. Chicken, to my house, to Get Go, then to grammys all in 20 minutes. We made it there in 19 ha ha.

Event 5
Driving

MOM LET ME DRIVE THE CAR DOWN MY GRAMMY'S STREET WHEN WE WERE HEADING BACK FROM PETITES GARDEN CENTER! O.O

Oh yeah and when I was there I saw Alabert from PE class! (Allison's her real name).

And finally...

Field: Home

Event 6
Fire

We were at my grammy's house when my dad called (who is in NY remember) and was all: Hurry up and get to the house, Barco called and said it was on fire.

So my mom speeds home a 70 mph (i'm surprised she didn't get pulled over...) and we get to the house. There was a fire truck, 3 police cars, and an ambulance. Turns out it was a false alarm though so that was good.

Now I better get my ass in gear so I can play runescape with Zak =p

Oh yeah and I gotta work tomorrow too- another big shipment and it's still only John in the ware house!

Busy Busy

So today I woke up around 10:30, got dressed, ate breakfast (yes a know, weird huh?) and then talked with my mom a little bit. My dad needed some help in the yard so my brother and I picked weeds in teh front flower bed and from under the pine tree line. Lunch came and then we went to my grammy's to help pick sticks up in her yard.

We made a huge fire pile with them afterwards. I also took my dad on a wild ride on my uncles Gator. Full speed, hair pin turns baby!! After the ride my dad looked at me and went: "As long as you're not driving my company car, you can do that." *tumbs up*

You have to love my dad.

Oh yeah, I even backed the Gator into the grage! I think I did really bad...i nearly crashed into the grage door about three times...but my grandma, uncle scott, and dad said I did I pretty good job. I just can't get the hang of that revers steering ya know?

I went to the range for the frist time this year. I well with my irons and hybrid, but my 3 wood and driver...SUCKED. So after sending another ball flying low and to the right with my Driver (they either were like that or just rolled on the ground ><) I tried out my dads. His is a Callaway, I think mine is a Wilson or something... Anyways, I hit it well, a lot better than my driver at least.

After grabbing some gum from Marc's, orbit since I'm trying to whiten my teeth, dad, jj and I did a light workout before dinner.

I just came back from Dicks Sporting Goods. I got new golf shoes, golf balls, 2 new golf gloves, and I tried out a Lady's Callaway Driver. I kept hitting it right, but I was hitting it about 150 yards on average. I should be hitting 200 on average. But hey, I haven't hit a golf ball in a while so I'm sure I'll up the yardage after getting out more.

Now I"m here.

I'm planning on going to the movies tomorrow (seeing Prom Night) with Rayy and Erin. Rayy is waiting for her dad to get home to see and Erin hasn't answered my text, methinks I texted her while on her date and it is kind of rude to text your friends while you're on one (at least that's what I think). I asked Ed if she wanted to come but she didn't want to see the movie, plus she had homework. Dev is at her dads, Peaches is at her dads, and Ryan is grounded so they can't come.

I had an away message up saying that I was busy at the moment but if you wanted to go see prom night with me tomorrow IM me and I'll get back to you. Ryan IMed me saying:

Ryan: this weekend is horrid for me and jackie if you guys would even want us to come so really dont bother asking us

I dunno but when I read it, it sounded like he thinks I wouldn't want them around at all. I mean the whole: "if you guys even want us to come" thing kinda shouted that out to me... I don't hate Ryan he and I just have some very different opions at some times, and there's no reason why i should hate Jackie. I'm actually trying for all of us to get together next weekend to hang out or something at the park. My park though, not the rec park. We could probably go see our 'beach' if it's nice enough! (or if it hasn't washed away, this winter there wasn't much sand when Dev, Dad, and I checked it out...)

Okay all of you should see Hammy right now. This is what he keeps doing:

*sits in front of window* *pounces at birds* *runs around the house* *jumps in empty box in computer room* Now repeat.

It's too funny. There's little kitty head prints in the window screen ^-^

<3
