3 Long Days

Sunday

Woke up early and was picked up by Denise (one of my Dad's customers) to go volunteer for the Richfield Sweet Corn Ride. We got there around 8 and helped set up the two picnic tables filled with boxes of cookies (Peanut butter, sugar, chocolate chip, and gingerbread almond), health bars, rice krispie treats and bananas.

After that all we had to do was wait. Jim (the main guy who was running our food station) was pretty busy throughout the morning making sure everything was perfect. His brother Brian was really funny and always making wise cracks. =p

Van was the oldest helper there and brought the huge tanks of water. He was funny like Brian too. =)

Before the bikers showed up Donna and Dianna then came.

Best part?

They were twins.

So awesome. =p

For the duration of the time everyone made sure the bikers were fed and make wise cracks to each other. =p

Everyone thought it was extremely funny when I said "I wonder if I yelled "It's raining!" how many people would look up..." Personally I didn't think it was that funny but hey. =p

In the middle of the food giving we got a bunch of crates of these really big green grapes which apparently were extremely tasty because the bikers would eat one, shove their face, then proceed to grab more and tell us how awesome they were.

When we were cleaning up I made a bunch of funny comments (e.g. telling Brian that his side of the table was too low to the ground while we were moving it back under the pavilion =p) and Jim asked if I wanted to be a comedian when I grew up because comedy seemed to come so naturally to me. =)

Monday

Woke up early for my golf tournament. Was very nervous so Dad watched me hit some golf balls to help loosen me up and stayed before I teed off. This one girl and I were neck and neck the whole first 9. I beat her by one stroke. =D

The back 9 I fucked up a bit on though, which cost me. Either way, I shot a 98 and grabbed 2nd place! =D

Came home and fell asleep for a few hours and watched CSI with Mommy while I iced my left arm because it was hurting so badly.

Tuesday (Today)

Got up and went with Dad in his car to the hospital because JJ was getting surgery today.

Don't worry it was nothing too major, just foot surgery. Because of his flat feet and the way he walks the heel in his foot is completely turned and his ankle is also turning. What they did was go in and stretch the tendons out in his leg and then correct the bone and everything.

Before he was going into surgery I went with him to get his IV in and then Mommy went into the OR room until he fell asleep.

Grammy, Uncle Scott also came to wish him well.

While he was in surgery Dad and I went to Golf Galaxy down the street and I tried out some new golf clubs (which fucked up my left arm even more) and in the end got to take a driver home to hit a few times.

Went home to let the pets out, and picked up some food for JJ and Mom before we headed back to the hospital. JJ had just gotten out of surgery a half hour after we arrived and they were trying to control his pain levels.

I gave him one of my Hello Kitty band aids. I think it helped. =)

When we got up to his room I wrote a message on the while board for him to read when he missed me. Then Dad and I looked up at the big light that had a Hightlights Hidden Pictures thing on it and found everything but the little bell.

JJ helped me find it though. =D

We ate our subs and talked to the nice nurses. Jj even asked if she wanted a chip! It was so funny and nice. =) He would always say thank you whenever they would give him pain meds too. =p

When Dad and I left (Mommy is staying over night) I gave him an extra band aid just in case he needed it.

Dad and I talked out on the deck for awhile and now I'm here.

Probably going clean my room and organize the guest room a bit to keep myself occupied.

Also probably going to not blog for awhile because my arms hurt a ton now. =(

It's Hardly Spring

And I already have sunburn all on my shoulders, upper back, and neck.

Hellz yeah to yard work.

Dad and I went to Eddies Bike shop today and bought me riding gloves. The doctor said they'd help when I start weight lifting again and with golf.

Went home and I worked on my VV project for all of 4 minutes before it was burger time!

Cyrus came over after that and him, Dad, and myself went on an 8 mile bike trip. We took the Enchanted Forest path, which wasn't really all that enchanting since the leaves weren't on the trees...but oh well.

Dad rode his bike really fast so Cyrus and I lagged behind and talked. =p

After that he helped me with my VV project. The map is pretty much finished except for one or two places because we couldn't really figure out what to put.

Dad got me the best thing today.

It's a small plastic piggy.

But that's not all.

There's a button on it's head, and when you press it the nose lights up and in oinks!!

I love it so much! ^-^

I probably shouldn't be blogging and resting my hands but they felt great today. Might as well seize the moment, right?

Ching Ching!

Soooo I told some people that I would post yesterday...and it's Saturday...whoops....heheh.

I got stuck on my Vally Voyages paper, and then I started to worry that it was too much essay like. Like I said, I'm not used to putting my opinion in a school essay. It was like wait...I can use the word 'you' or 'I'?! Freaky...

Woke up at 6:30 for the bike through the Vally. I almost didn't get up because I thought "Why the heck did I set my alarm clock when we're off- oh that's right..."

Picked up Devvy Chan and then we parked at the Winking Lizard by the Cycles place. Turns out the sheet was wrong and we had to go down more by the path. *shrugs* Signed in, and then gathered my group of people for the trip. I got Roy to changed groups to save Devvy Chan by he undying love for her. =p

Tee hee...when we were getting our bikes loaded I saw the there was a thing on the car that said Jacking Pad. I couldn't resist taking a picture....I'm so immature. =)

Oh, guess who I sat with on the train! Carlos!! I love that kid, I gave him lot's of hugs. =D

Ariel found a way to come...I told her my group was too big though...

Rayy, Maria, her Aunt (who I kept thinking was her mom) and Devvy Chan were in my group. Dev hadn't ridden a bike in 2 years so she almost crashed a few times, but she still made it! =D

Caught up with Roy's group a few times, he kept asking me about Devvy Chan and I finally told him that she wasn't looking for a boyfriend right now. *shrugs* Hey, it's the truth. He seemed kinda down but I told him there were a ton of other girls out there....so he started hanging off of me. I gave him the hint in the end that I'm fine with being single. Roy isn't my type anyways.

Oh, and on the train Jimmy kept telling me that he was single....I was like 'That's...nice....'.

It was really cold when we started out but once we got pedaling I warmed up. I was wearing like, five layers. =p

On the way we sped past Cyrus's group, apparently the one girl ran into the other and skinned her knee. Idiot. I felt bad for him...he basically had the we're-stupid-but-we-look-good-and-slutty group. One of the girls was on the internet on her phone while biking and ran into him. Mind you, the bike I let him borrow was like, $400, and I'm not afraid to strangle a person, especially one of them, if they even so much as scratched it.

I heard enough shit from my dad before I even lent it out to Cyrus.

No one in my group had to do extra credit, but we stopped a lot in the beginning anyways. It got annoying. We were all cold, and tired, and I did tell them a little bit about the Vally, mainly before the trip. Also, Mr. Testa had told then some interesting facts too while he was riding with our group. In the end, I decided to not stop, we were all late getting to the parking lot anyways, and I didn't want anyone's parents to wait.

Devvy Chan stayed with me till the bitter end, but we had to keep stopping so people could catch up. I almost hit this lady taking a picture and caused a pile up behind me. I rang my bell, I told her passing, and she just took one look at me and stepped right into the path. I was ready to shout "Lady, what the hell are you doing?!" But I didn't, self control remember? =p

I almost hit a chipmunk too! Sorry chipmunk!!

Everyone was excited when the ride was over. Rayy and Maria left, and really only Billy, Larry, Jim, Dev, Ariel and I were left. I seriously wanted to punch Ariel in the face. The girl would NOT stop hanging off of me. I pushed her away, I ducked underneath her, I gave her looks, I told her to get off, and dammit she would not stop. It was like a monkey hugging a banana, she would not let go and stop strangling me.

*sigh*

She started asking me about my blog too, which I don't want her reading at all, period. I told her that she had to get a blogger account and all this other stuff that she wouldn't bother doing, and that it was set to private, and stuff.

Gave Larry, and Billy and everyone lot's of hugs. Then mom came and I had to get the bikes on the rack. Ariel kept getting her hands in the way and I told her to stop that I got it but she refused to I slapped her arm out of the way and told her to buzz off in the nicest way possible at that point. I couldn't stand it.

She kept bugging my mom about me sleeping over in November too. Could tell mom was getting annoyed too. She said no.

Devvy Chan came over and I tried to work on my VV journal but I got stuck so we ate pizza hut and got ready for the game. It was pretty cold out, and the game was relatively calm. Hung out with Cyrus and we bundled up together to keep warm. My dad came because he was sick of watching us lose and I had him meet Cyrus. They were shaking hands until Ariel just jumped in front of him, attacked him, and started asking my dad about me sleeping over in November...

My dad was annoyed about that too.

Then we lost JJ, since he can't stay in one spot, so we had to search for him before leaving. Had to listen to Dad keep asking about Cyrus's parents and saying that if Cyrus was black I wasn't allowed to date him anymore.

1. I'm not dating him.
2. I could care less about his color.

Stupid raciest jackass.

He started yelling at Devlyn too, I wanted to slap him.

Rain Rain Go Away

Because I have to bike the trail Friday!

That was a spur of the moment rhyme...

Skillz!!

So today it was raining so I was tired. I actually did fall asleep on Geometry....whoops, sorry Mr. Lawrence. I don't think anyone noticed though, did it with my eyes opened.

I'm set for college! =p

I was so tired I forgot most of what I read for my history quiz.... =/

So I got my grammar finished in the IMC and when I was putting away my folder in art I noticed one of my sentences was wrong and I forgot my name. So I'm writing my name on it and then suddenly the paper slides out from under me into the hands of Mr. Mayer and he's shredding it into little tiny pieces.

"This isn't a study hall!"

I kinda just stared at him blankly with my mouth hung opened and he left.

I needed many hugs after that.

I told Mrs. Newcomer and she gave me another paper. Which for the record proves that she is a nice person...she just can't really teach that well is all.

Finished the movie in English....*sigh* Now we have to do real work....

Came home and Shannon gave me kisses! I think she loves me now! Yayz! I swear that dog has given me more kisses this month than in the past 2 years. I feel so loved. ^-^

Watched a few CSI episodes and stuff before reading the stuff for tomorrow (I only have to read something, not you guys, chill).

Dad came home and then we got into a fight about Cyrus because he wanted to know why we needed room for 3 bikes on the bike rack. He was all pissed that I was letting Cyrus borrow mine because his was broken...basically, the fight went like this:

dad: I thought Devlyn needed the bike
me: she has one now, and Cyrus hasn't had time to fix his
dad: well why is he going with you?!
me: because it's required if you're in vally voyages?
dad: I don't like you hanging out with him, like you're together or something...
me: we're not going out
dad: sure seems like it!
me: well we're not....
dad: what do you call it then?!
me: ummmm....having a friend that is a male?
dad: *humphs* guys only have one thing on their mind, and he's a senior too, and you're getting older.

But of course, he's always right and knows EVERYTHING! I'm secretly dating Cyrus and I'm gonna fuck him in the woods near the bike trail tomorrow. Yep, he's got it all figured out, I can't believe it.

Valley Voyages

Valley Voyages was freaking awesome!

My mom and I got their early, and we didn't know where to wait because the bus hadn't come yet. We found Justin (blonde one, friend of Tom's, he's at the MT) and asked him where and he wasn't sure either. After making a few illegal moves in the school's parking lot, we ended up back to the front and it was the right place.

Rode to Stan Hywet and talked a little bit about the bike trip on the way. Here's what happens basically:

We all meet down at Peninsula with our bikes and ride a train to Akron. Then we bike back. The trip is about 13 miles (and I believe it's downhill too), and bike rentals are free. Although, the less people that rent bikes, the more Vally Voyages gets to use their money to go on fun trips, so please try and find a bike!

Anyways, when we got to Stan Hywet Mr. Johansson and Mr. Testa handed out camera's, this one to be exact, and digital recorders. We took the Nook's and Crannies Tour which mainly was shown around where the servants worked and slept. After that we ate lunch, and then we got to go on a self guided tour around the main house.

It was better than I remembered. I took Tom and Justin with me. =p

Once that was done, we all gathered back up in the bus to go to Hale Farm. I'd never been to there, so I was excited.

Instead of taking pictures Mr. Johansson gave me the video camera!! I felt so cool. Hope I got some pretty good shots and stuff.... o.o

Oh oh oh! I got to crack corn, and I don't care! =p

A demon cow almost bit me too...then again....maybe I shouldn't have tried to pet it....heh heh....

When Jessica, Tom, Justin and I were all done we hung out in the gift shop for a second, bought some drinks, and then waited under the big tree for the others to come back.

Returned the video camera back, and then we all were given our journal entry for the trip.

When we got back to the school, it was ice cream time! =D

Cyrus dropped his friend off, and then his sister off, and then we went to Handles. When we finished our ice cream he took me back to his house and we hung out in his basement (and I know what you guys are thinking so shut up). I felt honored that he attempted to show me how to play the Ukulele. I can't play it. =p

Drove back to my house and we invited him to go see the movie Religulous. It was so funny and logical. I really like Bill Maher. =)

Well that was about it. Dropped Cyrus off at my house so he could drive home, then I went with my mom and drove my Grammy home. She got my Arby's too. =D

Dad yelled at me about how I didn't want to go boating tomorrow because I told him I had a paper to write, and that it seemed pointless because the water would be how many degrees and I wouldn't be swimming in it.

Blah.

Oh and to Erin, I don't hate Max, and I don't hate you. I was just pissed at the way both Ryan and him were at the game is all. It was nice for Max to defend you after hearing a lot of insults from Ryan, it's just that wasn't the way to handle it. I am glad to get an apology from Max of his ridiculous actions, and I am hoping to get one from Ryan for making uncalled comments and being rude to one of my friends.

Well, that's about it. Now to get started on that pamphlet.

Lots To Post

Mkays lets start on Friday.

Woke up around 9:30 and my brother, dad, and I went golfing and Shawniees Par 3. I did pretty good I guess, shot a 43. I almost got a hole in one too! On the way home we picked up Zak and he helped fill water balloons. Well, actually at first we kinda just soaked each other...and THEN we filled them up, and continued to soak each other. Zak found a little frog while we were doing it and he tried to put it down my shirt! Heh, he didn't make it though.

We then helped my mom decorate the deck and get some chairs set up and stuff before going down the basement for a few hours. We watched a few episodes of That 70's Show. I've never watched it till then and I like it.

Ate burgers for dinner and then cooked the food for the party. Dev came early and helped out too and then the rest of the people came too. We all ran around and had fun and then Zaks dad and little sister Maddy came over to watch the fireworks.

My parents said that next year is probably going to be the last year we do the party until maybe the 4th lands on a weekend or something because the police always come on the 3rd and we're afraid he's going to get arrested now. It'll be our 20 year anniversary for it though!

Dev slept over and we stayed up until like 2-3 in the morning talking about stuff. Woke up around 9:45 and then picked up Ryan, Zak, and Rayy to go to her uncle's party. It was pretty fun, we played badminton and then spent most of our time in the living room and Rayy, Ed, and I fell asleep. I fell asleep on Zak and I must say he's comfy. =)

Then we all got dropped off, and Zak came over to my house and we watched Cloverfeild until he had to go home around 11.

Today my dad let me sleep in until 12!!! I was like scared that he died, he never lets me sleep in that late! We went on a 10 mile bike ride, and then I got to ride on a train to Rockside! I haven't been on a train in like five years, it was fun! After we got off we rode our bikes about 3 more miles and then I got home and got to drive the car in the development down our street! It was fun!

Had dinner, then went out to hit balls (golf balls). Now I'm here and really tired so I'm gonna go to bed now. Night.

Nice Out

It was pretty nice outside today, only about 88, and it didn't seem as humid as yesterday.

Spent most of the day playing runescape and stuff then Dad took JJ and Me to Penelope's (a restaurant run by a Greek woman named Penelope (athough you'd never get that idea)) and she made us her famous pizza. It wasn't like a regular pizza, there wasn't any red sauce, more like cheese and topping and spices. I liked it! JJ ever tried pizza too! That's like the only thing he doesn't like....lol.

After that I went and typed a little bit more of chappie 4 (like only a little paragraph...) and then Dad let JJ ride his bike up to Andy L. up by those developments. I was nervous about him going alone, but he is 11 I guess. Dad was all: "Quit worring, when I was in thrid grade I was riding my bike alone all over the place!"

1. When he was in third grade I bet there wern't a bunch of pyhco petifiles running around just waiting for a kid

2. What happened to when he said him and all his FRIENDS would ride around everywhere?

3. He told me he didn't get a bike until he was in 5th grade

Yeah.

Well anyways dad and I took our bikes and went on a 14 mile bike ride. We rode pretty fast, dad said the fastest we went was 27 mph! He has a little thing on his bike that tells you by the way. Also, he took me to this place which he calls the 'enchanted forest' which is like really awesome. The trees are really huge, and it's like something from Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter or something! When we were riding back (since we were riding by the canal) we saw this guy catch this hug fish! You could tell he was really proud of it.

I asked dad if tomorrow he would take me to get new sneakers since all of mine were STOLEN. Grrr...that still get's me mad.... I also need a few more suitable work clothes since I know you can't wear jeans to the office unless working in the wear house. He was like "Sure *angry sigh* you need to go shoot nine too...." Well, it's going to be HOW hot out tomorrow? Above 90 you said? Well fuck that! I'm not golfing in 90+ weather unless I have too. I suggested that I'll go to the range but he argued that "Naaaah it's not the saaaaame nah naaaaah" Yeah, I know that, but at least I'm making an effort to do SOMETHING.

JJ said there was a new Bum Reviews video on Kung Fu Panda, so I'm going to watch that after this. Then play some more runescape. I have over $11,000 now! =D After that going to write more for my book. Dad helped me with some great ideas on what happens in Oregon and some things that could happen to Doc, which aren't too good in her case. DUN DUN DUN.

Zak coming over tomorrow! Mom said he can come for dinner, I'll call an ask him ^-^

Cuttin the Grass

So today I woke up around 9:30-10ish and went outside to cut the lawn with the lawn mower. Well then my dad gets home and he's going to teach me how to cut the grass with the tractor. I must say there are some ticks that I didn't know about, like with the lines it makes and stuff, and some special things to go around trees and how to round off a corner etc...

Well I cut a section and I did pretty good. I even backed up at full speed! o.o
It was fun too, so I can't wait till next Saturday.

Then after that my dad and I went up to Eddie's Bike shop to pick up my bro and his bikes from there and then he got me a new bike! It's really nice, a very early birthday present. I wanna go riding from the mill to Quaker Steak next weekend maybe. Methinks that's about 8 miles.

The food was pretty good, calamari excellent! Like you're having it in Florida! (Florida's is always better cuz it's fresher and stuff).

After that my dad and I quickly drove up to Malay's and I bought my mom some chocolate for mother's day and then I made her a card:

And to devvy chan, I feel the same way too. I'm really am still in my little world, I just try not to show it. I mean, i still dream about my dream guy, (sorry zak, but I think about you too!) and when I'll meet him one day, and if he's thinking about me one day and stuff. You're not alone! I'll always be with you!

I'll always be with all of my friends. No matter what. If you guys have any problems, I might not be able to fix them, or give you the best advice, but I'll always be there for you because you guys are all so awesome and i'm so happy to know you. I'll be like: "____? That's my friend!" If anything happens, I'll be there. You just need to let me know ya know, because I care about each and every one of you. I dunno what I'd do without you guys.
